In a firewall you need to allow your game (= Deus Ex client) outgoing TCP traffic to destination port 27900 to enable your client to fetch the master list from master.gamespy.com. But outgoing traffic usually isn't a thing you need to configure in a router. A router has no problem with outgoing traffic. All outgoing traffic is allowed by default.
Port 8777? I don't know. Maybe someone copied some rules of a different Unreal engine based game.
Either you fill-in the port numbers given in this or some other forums without understanding what's happening (and maybe it's working for you or maybe not) or you take the task on you and read-in into networking, routing, protocols and ports. As Dae said in
