OpenGL makes whole XP brighter

When I'm running Deus Ex with OpenGL driver, any changes I do to brightness in Deus Ex makes my desktop change brightness.

Whatever I set it to, when I exit Deus Ex, everything is brighter.

I already changed render device for DX but TNM always uses updated OpenGL renderer... I think.

Enhanced OpenGL doesn't fix this bug.

It's indeed a very annoying one, although it appeared for me only when my DX crashed. I couldn't find a solution for it (except, of course, rebooting the system) until my dad installed Logo Calibration Loader. The program restored gamma when it happened with me.

Btw, the same bug exists for UED3 and UT2004.

It happens to me as well, but only happens when Deus Ex or TNM crash. Otherwise, if I shut the game down fine, it's normal brightness.
