Unreal Editor And Starting Deus Ex

I reinstalled Deus Ex so that I could use Unreal Editor 2 but when I had finished that box you know that appears the first time you play Deus Ex after installing it after it the computer says please insert Deus Ex and press ok but the disc is already in and i have cleaned it, restarted computer and almost everything else i can think of please help me.

ALSO

I tried going on to uneal editor 2 but it says assertion failed please help me with it too.

ppl have probelsms with UEd 2 cos they dont read the ReadMe properly

please make sure that ALL the files are in the abseloutly correct locations

it may be a little confusing

also, the original SDK problem with the GOTY edition of DX can be easily fixed by simply re-installing the game

and if the Disk is faulty to this

open the File from the directory

C:DeusExSystem

called DeusEx.ini

find the line that says

CDPath=D: (or whatever drive u use)

change that line to

CDPath=
or
CDPath=..

and the disk is no longer needed

but dont make the mistake and delete the whol line

make it

CDPath=..

some ppl make an error and delete the entire line, making the game unplayable... and they hav 2 re-install again lol
