Deus Ex Alpha

I downloaded the UED2 patch, I did all it says (Dumbass me thought it was for Deus Ex), Put it in the System Folder, Deus Ex and UED1 won't start, also, I have deleted the System Directory. I have also done a System Restore.
I am using Windows XP on a quite fast comp. Please help!!!!!!!!!!
The main purpose of this post is... Please can you upload the System folder to FTP or something? Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help.
btw. My disc has a scratch on.
