Copy your default.ini into deusex.ini | Start over installing the UDP Server Query patch.

Try instead of Internet Game, Lan Game(If you see your game there) If you do, or if you don't :P i think you have a router..?

in some cases you may not find your server in the internet server list but the rest of people can see it. So, connect to your server via LAN.

if you have a router you neve see your own server in the internet list
you can join it by clicking to lan game and clicking to your server there

however.. the others can just see your server if you said the router that certain data on certain ports needs to be send to a certain IP (the IP of your DX server PC)
that's also called port fortarding or redirection

Mate, one word, Bullshit. :) You just need to learn to configure your router properly. Its port forwarding, on the newer routers they have "UPnP" Which basically is universal plug and play which means that certain programs which use UPnP don't need a manual port forward configured, However, DX does need it doing manually. So all you should do in your router (Depending how good your router UI is) is type in the ports, name them something and set them up to allow always and to send to your networked computer IP address that your using DX on.

I believe I got it working, I hosted a LAN game and I was able to see it on my LAN list and connection. I hosted an Internet game just now and I was able to see it through the LAN game list.

Thank you for all the help.

UPnP is evil anyways.

the problem is that noone can really help you remotely...

i can tell you what ports you have to forward in your router but i can'T really tell you how you do it because i neither know if you know what i want of you nor i'm familiar with the user interface of your router

It's a AMBIT DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem, if that helps.
