DX2 on a GF4 MX440?

Postby Aussiefella » Tue Jan 27, 04 5:07 am

Splitter just sent me a copy of Deus Ex 2, it says i need a graphics card with Pixel Shader 1.1 capabilities, i dont think my card has this however i have seen people use this card for DX2, anyone know how to fix it??

Thanks,

Yaaaaay someone else who has it! BTW go with the WTO when in the weapons facility otherwise you don't get the MAG RAIL!!!. Also I want to point out that I completed the game in 9 hours. You see how you do (thats with most side missions done).

you dont need a fucking 9800pro to run it, a GF FX5200 will run it well.

Yeh, Shogun's only got a 9200 and he runs it alright (would run better if he would turn shadows off :P). It's not the fact that it's running slow, it won't run at all. I've got a GeForce 4 440MX and it just crashes on start up. The problem with it is that the GeForce 4 is a faster GeForce 2 with nothing new on it. A GeForce 3 would also run it, as it's got the pixel shading feature which 4 is lacking

Nah, the only place i could find it was on this bittorrent searchengine and i downloaded it but its a password protected rar. Besides its only the SOURCE CODE for the graphics engine - not the actual game!

P.S. Did you download the leaked beta then?

For any Law enforcement ppl reading this : I TOTALLY ERADICATED THE LEAKED HL2 BETA FROM MY DRIVE.

i officially can make DX2 run on a MX440, you need to download a program called 3D Analyze, this can force pixel shading!!

Yeh, I've got it to work and i even runs well in game but all the pixels are way to bright cause there is no shading so you can't see anything, it's nearly all just a white light
