An easier way to open ports a router(Provided you know what router you have and have access the settings page)You can just get PFConfig and use it to open the correct ports.

I did all the stuff on the webpage, but still cant see my server in the server list. I can see it in the LAN list, but not the interent one. Does it matter that my server network device is set to TCP/IP Network Play?

Well you may not be able to see it in the Server list, but others can. Check if someone can see it in the list when you're hosting, and check if someone can connect to your IP.

In that case, how am I supposed to connect to it? Should I just use the IP connect also?

EDIT: Just noticed, I'm running a DXSG server starter program. Also, it can't seem to find the epicgames masterserver, any problems there?

Well you can see it in LAN, you can connect to that. Check if others can connect via IP first while hosting (http://www.myip.ru).

Sorry, I didn't refresh before posting the edit.

I'm running server starter for DXSG_Area51bunker_V3_152, and it can't find the epicgames masterserver

77 lol?

As said, open these ports:

7790, 7791, 7792, 8777, 27900 in TCP and UDP.

Follow this guide:

Open ports 7730 to see it in the internet list if your router does not support loupback or your using a wirless bridge, in that case things get very complicated and you need to use PFConfig, which you can get off LimeWire or uTorrent.

No, You have to open ports on the router manually then use PFConfig, and use diffrent ports from the default Deus Ex ones, so use 7780-7782.

I'm gettin very very confused here :?

Ok, I am using a wireless modem router but the computer I play DX on is not connected via wirless, it's wired up to the modem. open port 7730 on TCP, UDP or both? I have no clue what loupback is and even less of whether my router supports it. My router is a Belkin N wireless modem and router (F5D8633-4) And it's brand new.

No more info here

This is the first time I hear about port 7730 used with Deus Ex. (Indeed you can change 7790 to 7730 in DeusEx.ini, but this isn't the case).

Could someone else confirm what Hey's saying?

Batch, if you ask Batch he should beable to sort stuff out for you, myn is a very complicated setup, I dont think anyone has it here, and out of about 10 people that tried to open the ports for me, he did it and succeeded, so, if no one here can help D.C.I Blake out then you should ask Batch

and also this only works with some routers, look in advanced settings, dmz hosting, turn it on, and put in your ip adress in the box, then press save & restart
The eye sore has been removed!

I really do think Deus Ex is the all-time best game ever made.
