My fps isnt too bad, it always sits on 60 but other players have had aobut 170 sometimes!
Is there any way of raising it? Someone said somthing about turning Vsync off?

FPS depends on your video card, screen type/resolution and of course, computer

If you don't want to change your hardware, prowl in standard settings...
I have 59-60 fps, however it's just fine for my 21" LCD and ancient video card. And I haven't ever noticed that I need more.

if its on 60 constantly its been frame locked.
I have a ATI gfx card and mine locks too i have to go into the ati drivers and UNTICK alternate pixel center for my FPs to go sky high again. also i recommend the lastest opengl driver if you google UT opengl driver it will point you in the right direction far more stable than D3D.

If it stays on 60 all the time you most likely have vsync on, just go to your desktop and right click then go to Settings, Advanced, Monitor and either change the screen refresh rate(I have 60, 70, 72, 75, 85) and your frame rates stay at that level. You could also turn vsync off through your video cards driver settings, then it just depends on your card+cpu and the map your on.

D3D with having VSync toggled off, sometimes causes problems, I cant use D3D for dx anyways due to some weird problems (one of them is gas being white) But the updated OpenGL renderer worked amazing for me, I'd recommend it if you ever want to try out higher fps without the fps actually being lower than displayed (or at least it feels like that), or just want to get a little bit of a fps boost.
