i found a solution to mtl not working with non-english deusex, just see http://www.dxblade.altervista.org in the mtl patch section

before i get annoying answers

:
1) daedalus, i know you dont have this problem even though you dont have english dx, but its just luck, ok? :mrgreen:

2) i found the solutions thanks to nil and kingj, as specified on the site... im not saying i found it on my own...

however i wanted to get a final solution in mtl2, so i proposed to help if i had the source, but the answer from TRM was "its dead. its all dead". damn... :evil:

minimtl 1.3 is just a mutator to mtl 1.52b1

the fact is that mtl for some strange reason requires you have DeusExText.u in english, otherwise it gives you a gpf

however he said the community is dead and he is no longer working on mtl other than to give it a brief organiazation for a final mtl2 (i'm not sure if the words i used are the right translation of what i wanted to write... boh
