Server trouble.
Posted: Wed Feb 14, 07 1:39 amRight, so I started a server on Internet... Now I've heard rumors about this DejaVu ****er, but I decided to see for myself since the last time I played was about 7 months ago. I'm hosting a server on Internet dedicated, but it's not showing in the list...
All the settings are the same as 7 months ago, nothing changed except I have 5 mbits upload now instead, and I don't have a router or firewall... If I go into the server for 5 mins and do nothing just run around, then come back out and check the server list it appears in the list but only for about 10 minutes and then it goes back into its little cave to hide again... I figure this is the work of DejaVu? Any luck with a fix, although preferably (no offense) I would rather keep the GS master server to host on .... despite the fact that all the good old pros are on the FGS one and GS might never host again...
sooooooooo.... any idears?
Also... I'm totally in for this supposed fight against him so if anyone needs a backup server or a server to test on or something with unlimited bandwidth, fast speeds, and for free PLEASE feel free to contact me. I have MSN, AIM, YIM, and Xfire. I will PM someone with those contact addresses if anyone needs them, or you'll notice them there in my profile
