Hey Guys I wanna host a game but everytime i host with Dedicated i go back into the game so i clikc play deus ex again to see if it was there but it never shows up

Im Behind A Router and im using win xp fierwall wif that im letting Deus Ex Throught people said to open ports i did that but it still wont pop up and when i checked my logs it said cannot conect or find Master.epicgames.com or something anyone got any answers to my problem?? Appreciate the help!!

Those master servers which cannot be found are inactive, they died a long time ago.

Plus, you need to install Nepthys anyways. Because even if what we suggest works you won't notice unless you have Nepthys installed.

Also, has anyone even asked him for his server.log?

Well, Garman, get your server.log file in your Deus Ex System folder, by default...[url=file:///C:/DeusEx/System/server.log]C:DeusExSystemserver.log[/url]

No..

Just install this:
viewtopic.php?t=8719

for time being, your server or any other besides those you see frequently, will not be seen on GS ( if it is, with luck, refresh button, but it is pretty bad)

However DXMTL is safe, so like I said, install that mod, click host, and it will show up on the DXMTL MS. You will know when you can see it on GS one.

Your server will only show on rare occasions, i.e hitting refresh numerous times and you might be lucky enough to get your server up. Sometimes it looks as if the attacks stop, but your server will never show for the whole duration of the server being hosted.

I.e you host a server, from 5-7, it might stay up for about 15 mins, disapppear, etc. etc. It's still there, jsut not visible anymore.

Unfortunately dxmtl.eu is down at mo, and there are no friggin Masterservers left besides Gamespy, so for the moment, just host, and if your lucky, people will catch your server and connect.

Also, you can connect through ip, and so can others, like I said, it isn't completely unaccesible, jsut has disappaeared off GS Masterserver.

If DXMTL comes back up: put this into yuor ini under Deus Ex.DeusEXGameEngine

ServerActors=Nephthys.NptServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.dxmtl.eu
MasterServerPort=27900

Just copy your Gamespy one bar the Master0.gamespy.com and isntead put master.dxmtl.eu

IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.dxmtl.eu MasterServerPort=27900
