Deus Ex won't run.

I just installed DX on my new computer, but it doesnt seem to work :/

What version did you install?

I would recommend reinstalling the game and/or patch. I had issues with patch where it didnt replace old files with new ones over several reinstalls, eventually i got it to install properly by using the same installer file. I skipped some overwrites i got after the actual update had been extracted.

But someone here probably can read the error file and give you more detailed answer. That is what I would do anyway for starter.

Game of the year Edition, the CD is rather damaged though, so a file could corrupt or something.


Slimline seems to work fine though ( thanks alex ) so I'll just use that.

When you add them in the User.ini, place them in DefUser.ini aswell.
