Deus Ex Alpha

I've downloaded the current version, registered, but when I try to get in I get "Connection Failed" even at times when there are no other players on there.
I thought maybe I typoed my password when I registered, so I tried to re-register so I could change my password, but the site wouldnt let me do it.

Is there any other possible reason why I might be having trouble getting in?

If you mean other accounts with MMC, no.

I had the same problem.. After never being able to play, I just removed the mod from my computer seeing it only as a waste of space.

It worked on mine after I realized my brother had an account on the same computer.

Basically muffdiver, just try and sign up again now - use a different password, and a different email address.

The problem was because a few days ago the registration system wasn't working properly, but it's fixed now.

Thanks, MainMan. Problem solved! I played in the mod a while last night. Awesome! Good job and thank you for putting the roleplaying back into DX for multiplayer.

Just one thing, though. I got killed in the arena recruiter's training course, and when I spawned back in, all my items, including the desert eagle pistol I had just bought were gone. I lost everything except the clothes I had bought. I thought you werent supposed to lose your items when you left the game, or is it different when you get killed?

Not complaining. Just asking for clarification.

Also, I'm just guessin it doesn't work with Steam versions of Deus Ex?

Dunno, I haven't tried. It should work in theory.
