True, but if you note the DX meshes, the 1st person meshes are only the bits you see. The rest is just cut away. That doesn't make sense. If it is high poly, it is high detail. If it is low poly, it is low detail.
Also, 900 polys isn't low poly in the case of DX. Do your modelling homework before you assume anything.
