American hosting kid. I use it myself, but I just got a European host, which is more expensive and offers less, but it a LOT faster.

Yeah well... Perhaps.. Does your forums have a backup feature? Create a back-up every 2-3 days, if your forums are quite popular then daily. If you do that then if he trashes your forums you can just make new ones and upload the backup, so your forums are the same as before, with not much loss.
