Damn, news to me.

That's exactly what I thought.

It's 21** dammit, who still uses laser rapiers and mutagen viruses.

At least in Deus Ex it's slightly plausible that what happens can happen. The Illuminati could exist (well that much is obvious). It's also more realistic that augmentations could exist in 2050 - THE FUTURE - then plasmids or an underwater city the likes of Rapture existing at anytime in the 1900's.
However I'm pretty fucking sure in 1960 there weren't things called plasmids, Big Daddies or Little Sisters.
I agree, the story barely stood on its hinges. Throughout the experience there was the "oh, and by the way..." factor.~Psychotic~ wrote:I believe BioShock had a really shitty ending. It lead up to it quite nicely and then when the whole plot gets laid on you it made me say "what the hell?" That's the specific story plot I dislike, so I apologize for being slightly ambiguous.
Regardless I wouldn't buy it. I could barely handle fucking Doom 3, and my cousin insisted I play BioShock in the fucking dark. Though BioShock for me, didn't have that whole darkness factor that Doom 3 had. And it wasn't often when guys would spring up on me, except the Big Daddies which were not only a bitch to kill but scared the fuck outta me if they got close...
