We're in need of editors for the upcoming Alpha site.

Unlike the current site and all previous ones, our new site will be a full-fledged Deus Ex fan-site covering everything related to the Deus Ex series: news, singleplayer, multiplayer, editing, deus ex 2, deus ex 3, conspiracies, screenshots of all kinds, etc. We need any help and any interesting content.

My future plans on the site include outgrowing all other Deus Ex sites by the content, trying to unite the worldwide singleplayer community, obtainining the "official" status from Eidos Montreal and interviewing Deus Ex 3 developers.

The content itself is a matter of time. I need good people who I can rely on. The requirements:

— Being a Deus Ex fan.
— Desire to help the aforementioned project.
— Strength of will: if you promise to do something, you do it.
— Good English knowledge.

As soon as you sign up, you'll get a PM with login and password to the private area where you can see the beta-version of the site. Our site is managed through MODx content manager, it's very easy and intuitive yet you may choose not to learn it and write content in Word or OpenOffice Writer, its up to you.

This ain't an obligatory life-time slavery, if you only write two good articles and then leave, it's absolutely no problem.

A trifle but still: each team member will a personal page which they can refer to in a CV. And yeah, it'll be a good experience.

We have damn lot of things to do. If you prefer to analyze you may analyze; if you prefer to make overviews of inventory items and such things, do it; if you want to be a proof reader, be a proof reader (I have automated the process of submitting errors); if you want to manage your own section, I'll grant you the rights. In other words, do what you do best.

Right at the moment I think we're badly in need of people who could write about
— Deus Ex 3, trailer analysis etc
— the singleplayer mods: Hotel Carone, Cassandra, Zodiac, RedSun 2020 etc
— Deus Ex 2
— the plot details: characters, organizations and their real life analogues

Well i can help, Yeah i have improved my English,

-I am a Deus Ex Fan..

I'll Write about the plot details, Such as characters names and stuff...?

I would love to help, but because of my lack of deus ex knowledge, and bad grammar, I do not see were I could help.

But I could gather information from other sites, and try and make it as formal as possible.

Yeah, I'd love to help whenever I can. And I can speak English pretty good too... I think I prove it with most of my posts lol.

I personally think I'd be best as a proof-reader and a literal editor (in the sence that I'm generally a grammar Nazi and I hate spelling words wrong or getting wrong punctuation). Also some questions:

What would a person who "analyzes" analyze? And an overview of inventory items? Do you mean like information on actual usable items that go in the player's Inventory? If so, I may be able to help with that too.

I can proof read and check facts etc. I could also write some articles on various things if you need.

Couldn't possibly do anything about SP mods as I've never even tried one of them.
PM me with the general idea, and I'll get going.

EDIT: I could be stealing the thunder from more "popular" members of the community, but maintaining my own section is something I'd like. I dunno... maybe after a few submissions or something?
