So, hi.

Thanks in advance for reading this topic!

We're testing the network of a new server we are (temporarily) using.

Could you all tell me how good the download speed on the following file is:

http://www.n1p.net/100mb.bin

Please, download the above file and tell me what download speeds you are getting, and if you think that the server is fast enough to serve files.

Thanks!
Alex

Please, also state if it's good or bad for your connection. For all I know, you're on dial up, so a low speed can still mean it's a good connection.

820KByte average from London (It was very jumpy at points i got 560, and others 1.1Mb).. I have a 10Mbit fibreoptic connection, the max i get 1.2MByte if i push it to its limit. Though i must also say that everything else i download from gets a nice average 950Kbyte-1.1Mbyte.

For me, the new link ranges from about 800kb/s to about 1mb/s. Above average; definitely useable here. :P

Roughly 30-50kbps. This is on a one-bar wireless connectivity. So it's not too bad for me.
