It just happened itself, when I updated, checked the history, it was fine, and now after like some 8-12 hours later (i left the download on..) I woke up, and stuff, and den tried to see history, and wham, no history thingie located inside,

This might not solve that problem but will give you a useful suggestion:

Do not trust Firerfox download manager, use Flashgot.
I recon someone posting about Flashgot already, the point of it is that when you download something from Firefox, there will be an option to forward your downloads to another software but Firefox, like Flashget, UTorrent, Limewire and so on. This way your downloads will be more likely to stay where they are supposed to, use it at least as long as the Firefox bug is solved.

Newer Flashget versions have a feature which makes direct downloads pause-able. (hint-hint)

Yeah, I use FlashGet with FlashGot (that cannot be coincidental lol). Bloody useful. Tried DownThemAll! too but god does it suck in comparison. Slow piece of shit.

Yeah same with 1 tab, until it froze within 10 seconds of reaching this thread and it escalated and stayed at this giant mess:

If you guys are using XP that may explain it, don't see why but it honestly doesn't do it for me. I am however, using Windows 7. I wouldn't think that'd have much to do with it, but now I'm starting to think otherwise.

Maybe 3.5 isn't optimised well for XP...seeing as most people have migrated to The Magnificent RAM-Hog.

I've had enough with this crappy firefox, I don't have the history tab, it stucks or freezes, takes lots of memory.

I suggest degrading:-

Use this EXE.

It's Firefox 3.0.7

@Tantalus:

I use Vista.

EDIT:

Oh, and it fixed my history bug too, along with that, it doesn't freeze anymore!
