Basically, the calender is coming to the end of a REALLY long cycle. That means that the world will end too, right? Well, no because the calender was meant to be used for when one can and cannot harvest. So, if one comes to an end, another cycle begins! It's no mystery that the Mayans didn't look THAT far in to the future when making their calender system.
The most hilarious piece of 'evidence' for the support of December 21st 2012 is this stupid practice in China (I believe) where flipping a coin can tell the future. Flip a coin, if it's heads, draw a horizontal line and if it's tails, draw two horizontal lines. Repeat that ten times on top of one another. Then somehow it can be translated to a LINE GRAPH, detailing bad points in history; the lower the line, the more misery I guess? Apparently, one run accurately predicted the Spanish Inquisition, World War I/II, The Cold War, etc. and the line just dropped off the graph at December 21st 2012.
Still bullshit, lol.
