Deus Ex Install Error

Hello. I have a physical copy of the game disk in the drive, but when I try to run the game, this pop-up occurs:

The procudre entry point ?OnEnterIdle@WWindow@@UAEXXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\DeusEx\DeusEx.exe

As best I can tell this is a wholly unique and new error.

I am running Windows 8.1, 64 bit edition. My computer specs are up to snuff, only possible issue is a 99% instead of a 100% on SFC.

Any ideas?

Perhaps try Slimline (MP only version) and see if that works?
