i found major bug...
you can heal yourself of poison dart with a EMP grenade!>?!
And sometimes you can kill teammates with emp grenades as well...

You can telefrag people who are in the bottom right corner of a ammo.

This is only my imho :) You guys know what are you doing, but i hope a few of my comments will be included too.

Features
  • Add skins. Change only body skin, but leave the skin for legs and for the head, so people will still be able to recognise teams. See an example picture.
  • Add augs, but make sure they can be simply disabled (just add a variable to a new .ini, like DXAG.ini or to existing one like DeusEx.ini)
  • Redesign spawnrooms 'cause in my opinion they look a bit inaccurate. +see 'bugs'
  • Let engineers/stealth have more than 5 multitools/lockpicks or maybe even unlimited.
  • Let medic heal himself with a healing spray too,
  • but give him something more powerful than a shocker, or a shocker with increased damage. Because noone uses it actually. You may also decrease count of darts for the mini crossbow if you're going to increase the damage of the combat weapon for a balance..
  • Add MTL support?
  • In current version soldier class is very weak. Give him a medkit and a multitool at start. Just 1.
  • I'll add more when remember.

Known bugs
  • A hallway to a teleporter can be blocked, therefore make these hallways wider.
  • Bodies sometimes don't disappear
  • Skins bug, it can be fixed.

Good stuff Dae, skin changing was already mentioned, but I like the styles, much more unique and more simpler

Yeah thats probably the best way to go about it, if me, u and alex can have a chat sometime about it, but im sure mrx knows how to do it anyway

A redesign probably is in order, I've found that the blocking of teleports also has its good points (especially if someone cant get it around their low capacity brain that the Health Spray heals ¬_¬)

After playing the mod throughly, I have decided that an unlimited pick/tool is in order, if however it isnt the correct way to approach it, I may mess around with how many they should have etc

Either that or make his medkit infinite, BUT, heal poison/flame only, which means that no health will be obtained by the kit, and the medic would require another medic to heal, i dunno, the spray healing themselves IS a good idea

ok heres the current situation

Tranquiliser darts will have twice the longivity, which means instead of them lasting what? 10-20 seconds, they will last say 20-40 seconds

HOWEVER the power of the tranquiliser will be halved, SO, since a dart can kill in one shot in the original release, same applies, just it takes twice as long

And as for the prod, just one question before i evaluate its use? Is it possible to apply a stun/shocked status effect to a player, if so then i may just do that and add a small amount of damage as well, if an enemy is stunned it allows others to go in for the kill

I know the soldier class is not brilliant, ironically :? What I am preparing to do is that the Soldier class will be the only one equipped with the AUG - Vision Enhancement, therefore apart from EMP grenades or good ears, the soldier will be the only class able to detect StealthOps when they are fully cloaked/radar transparency and run silent

However, if people find that 0-AUG DXAG is the way they want to play it, then a change will have to be made, im thinking the best option would be to give the soldier more clips, but sorry Dae, i absolutely refuse to give any class other than medic, medkits and same applies for multitools and engineers, and lockpicks and stealth

Balance can be achieved through other means, by merging classes in any shape or form it cramps up the other classes, well, hopefully im right about my methods, but if it really becomes an issue i will reconsider

I talked about this earlier, since teleporters wont be included in the final version the design of these will be up to the mapper in the original maps, otherwise for smuggler ill have a chat about exactly what u want the spawn room to look like

YES! I found this bug myself! It happened when I was half-telefragged, which was strange, my weapons load out disapeered, usually when i pressed esc twice it came back as normal, but sometimes it didnt, and when that happened my body stayed, and not only that, the protection to stop people picking up other classes equipment was gone, investigation will occur, but really it might just be a freak accident which will have to be worked around, i dunno

Sometime's a player get's spawned in a spawnroom, but he is still in spawn mode, and looks enemy for both teams, and doesn't has a correct skin, like, JCDenton, or MPMJ12

hmm the only things i really need to mention are the
ACCESSED NONES

and..

the crossbow should just make less damage without longer time
so.. at least just half the damage for this icrease the damage on the electro gun

oh yes and.. OMG infinite medkits for the medic is a very bad idea
we want to keep the balance and don't want to turn the medic into a godlike person :shock:

What i said mate lol was that the medkits heal poison only, but do not heal the standard 90HP, infact not even any HP if possible, i might just go with dae's idea of the spray healing yourself

ok..

i added the character information of every player to the scoreboard now
also.. the scoreboard now shows stuff like playerID and ping

and..

i fixed the bug where a player can change the team without loosing his score :lol:
