Hello all those mappers out there....

1) Do any of you use "Scalling tool" to make movers?
2) Can we use scalling tool to make some normal blue/brown brushes? cause i use scalling tool all the time..

I Need answers cause i cant make movers... when ever i make a mover its just Non-Solid... thank you... >_>

All the scaling tool does it take the original brush dimensions and multiply them - nothing more technical than that; this means that its just as safe as creating a new brush from scratch with bigger dimensions, but does it much more efficiently.

I haven't done it on movers, but I'd suggest not to.

When you intend to make a mover from a scaled brush, you need to right click on the brush, then select "Transform" > "Transform permanently" (only available in UEd2), otherwise in the game it will be non-solid.

You can use a scaling tool for any brushes, but keep in mind that in the buggy environment of UEd, you should keep the sides of your brushes on the grid (that is at least 4-8 in size).

I have no luck using scaling tool with mover brushes.
solidity issues on the fuhrpark aeroplanes etc...

if you can scale the original brushes or .t3d of your mover, that is safer.

make a simple flat wall, then intersect maintaining the Poly's.. When dealing with movers, I highly recommend UED2, it's more stable when dealing with movers as well as more advanced.
