Gaming and Technology

Postby Dae » Mon Jul 14, 08 6:29 pm

There needs to be a forum section to discuss hardware and software.

And there needs to be a section to discuss games.

Currently both subjects share the section called "Gaming and Technology".

Should we do something about it?

If you're up to moving the old topics, that would be quite a hard task to differentiate between a gaming topic and a technology topic. I would leave it as is.

But you can probably put a technology subforum in Technical Issues?

I've differentiated "singleplayer" related topics from multiplayer ones in Deus Ex forum, that task was harder :P

I hope you seriously enjoy a very inactive forum if this passes for separation, because I can tell.

Barely anyone asks for technical help, not enough to warrant their own separate forum certainly.

I can post daily topics with technical stuff :)

Hell, if desired, I can make daily topics about gaming & technology.

I voted for separate but now I think it's best if you leave it as is after reading Jay's posts. Makes sence, if technology is hardly discussed now then it won't change much in a new board. And Alex, you may be able to post daily but it's not a matter of being able, you also have to want to post the topics too.
