OK guys. I told you I'd help, and with the help of a few guys, and thanks to [A]llan for putting his server to include mine in the testing, I have a backup MS if we ever should need to use it running...


To add it, and please forgive me if I make a mistake its 5:16 AM here...


(For having your server show up on my MS when hosted)
Go to DeusEx.ini...
If you have Nephthys mod, do the following:

Find the header: [DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine]

Then add the following:
ServerActors=Nephthys.NptServerUplink MasterServerAddress=67.86.252.168 MasterServerPort=27900



If you do not have Nephthys mod, do the following:

Find the header: [DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine]

Then add the following:
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=67.86.252.168 MasterServerPort=27900

To view my MS from the start of the game, in DeusEx.ini go to the [DeusEx.MenuScreenJoinGame] heading, add the line MasterServerAddress=67.86.252.168, and put a ; before the GameSpy master server address. NOTE: This will not show GS servers then, it would be better if you add my MS into MMUserInterface (provided you have it) so you can switch at the click of a simple button. Saves time and problems...

If you have MMUserInterface, I'm pretty sure you know how to add another MS to the button scroll list, but just in case, you would add the following at the bottom of the [MMUserInterface110.MMUIMenuScreenJoinGame] heading section in DeusEx.ini:

MasterServers[2]=67.86.252.168

*NOTE: MasterServers[2] must be changed to whatever the number following the last number in your current MS list... for me, that would be 2.*

Good luck, have fun, I'm tired but if anyone needs help feel free. I'm sure you guys can handle it though. And although it seems like Deja might've stopped attacking, we don't know for sure so this is your 24/7 unlimited backup, PLEASE use it if you must I certainly don't mind at all... In fact it's nice to actually see servers, including my own, all showing for once... instead of every once in awhile...

I encourage all server hosters to add this Masterserver as one to host on..
a domain to route the ip might happen, but at moment, this i adequat.

OK, weird as hell. After I left my server, it now had some random crap in my console and it banned my IP I guess? Nephthys I guess thought I was the problem and banned me ... and although my MS list still shows [A]llan's it doesn't show mine, despite the fact it knows my server is linked to the MS... so... please enlighten me how I can fix it and have it show back up normally X_x since it doesn't show in the list anymore.... lol

You got banned by a "stealth ban". It doesn't let you even see the server in the list of the servers. I'm not sure why did you get banned, though.

BabyGirl's and ms have the same IP, so I guess, yes.

Nvm, found how to unban myself. I dunno if my server shows in the GS list though, it'll only show in mine if I go to advanced options under Nephthys heading, and change the master server uplink to my IP...

Time to get back to mapping. Time to start converting AA maps to DX and using UEd2.5 again

Now it banned me again for an RIJ attack ... LOL... does anyone know how I can fix this????

EDIT: Sorry for all the posts in a row, trying to keep people updated of my situation

On topic: DXMTL.EU Masterserver is now back up, meaning there are now three MAsterservers

However DMTL has proven to be unreliable, been down like three times now :/

So, if I added all the info for DXMTL, and this one. My server will appear on all 3 masterservers?
