Hey people you know how you open ports like what ports do you have to open? and how do you open it coz in my one wen i open them it says Rule Name Which is the name Then I got Protocol TCP/UPD which one? Port Start port Map And Port End SO how do i open it?

for total newbies there is an illustrated explanation here:

first choose router (or modem if its adsl) from that list, then choose "Dues Ex" (they have mispelt the name).

Anyways I found port forwarding very confusing, but somehow I got it done. And now I don't even have a router anymore, all that headache for nothing

Yeah...Ive went to port forward.com but it didnt work on dxalpha it says to open something like port 7791 but in portforward it didnt so yeah

If anyone has posted any of this before then oh well;

1) Your server should appear in the LAN list even though it is still appearing on the internet list to others.
2) Open the appropiate ports by following this guide:

3) Download Nephthys V1.4 from here:

4) Post back if anything is different.

Garman, please let me reinitate this: Your server won't show up properly for the time being, you will know when the problem is solved as it will show up normally..

This isn't anything to do with ports, I haven't a router, my server won't show up either.

Presently this is beyond the communities control, so pleas ebe patient.

yeah i havent opened my ports up porperly yet so yeah On Mine when i ahve to open ports it Says Port Start I know you have to type wat ever port im trying to open (7791 etc etc) but then theres port end and port map what do i type in those?? Thankyou In Advance

Hey Guys i went to port forward.com it stioll doesnt work it jsut say failed to resovle fagic.master.com or something Domnt think its called Fagic but yeah i still ahve the same problem even if i open the port up! This Is Wierd!! I DONT GET IT! :shock:

Fragaholic isn't in use anymore.. dowload portforward from that website, then you will find an application named dues ex, click on that, and it should forward the ports for that app.

Then when you host, don't try 0aug, otherwise your ip might be blocked and you won't be able to host any gametype for a while..

Ok so nvm about that then yesterday i hosted at like 4:00pm and then thisguy goes can i join your server? i said ok but it wont show he said no problem and he entered my ip coz i was playing in his server (his one shows) So he joined i looked in the console and it said joined succesfully so now i know people can join but they cant see it why is that? :?:

Edit: Everyone i got a DSL-502T just in case =D
