Hosting mega prob

My server has all ports forwarded , as it says on my other topic , i have got all other coms off , what is the problam i cant see in server list and all other player cant eaither my router is a NETGEAR DG834GT.

A firewall perhaps? Try disabling your firewall, then hosting. You may need to disable Windows Firewall and the one you use if you have more than one.

firewall off , imperial has been helpn me , but still it dont come up.

For the router are you using Ethernet or USB, i used to have USB and it didnt work, Ethernet works like a charm 8)

umm I have no idea lol. its connected by wire to the main computer so , is that USB? I have an ethernet adaptor for PS2 , No idea what this kinds stuff is.

an ethernet calbe has 2 like ... phone socket clips, but bigger each wne. the usb has a well a usb... o.o and a small square at the end....

EDIT:

the one will will have (if u have ehternet) is the red one :)

its that ethernet one , the bottum , also I have like 2 adaptors , both of them have to be on for net to work , could that be the prob?

Probably is your 2x adapter setup that's making a mess of it.

If possible, send your connection via the one connected directly to the modem only.

well the one im acsessing is the main one , but the other wirless adaptor... It dosent say a model number on it or anything... Its achaly that USB plug one cat 5 is my Ps2 one , this seems to be very weird.

It's not really weird.. When you buy a DSL connection from your ISP.. your ISP boosts your connection speed by ALOT. RJ11 can handle some serious shit (not really). ANYWAYS, the CAT 5 is the standard Ethernet cable used for internet access, they can transfer up to 100mbps.
