Full Screen Problems

Postby Imperial » Fri Jun 16, 06 10:50 am

Sorry, for all these techinal problems, but jsut one more.

My dx keeps going into window, I can't get it full screen.
I reinstalled it, due to my ini being messed, and when I loaded up deus ex, it went into window, i hit alt +enter, that didn't help, and then, I went into settings, went into display, and hit the toggle full screen button, but it keeps on bringing me back. I am running dx in normal mode and not is safe as well. Is there any other reason that might be preventing the screen to stay in full screen?

Thanks.

1. Open DeusEx.ini
2. Find [WinDrv.WindowsClient] and make sure that FullscreenViewportX and FullscreenViewportY are set to your screen resolution.
3. Look below, for a variable named StartupFullscreen, it should be "True"

You said you re-installed...that might have been what did it....ocassionally my comp has to be wiped (viruses) well anyway...Whenever I re-install...i must always do something to the video configuration...make sure your using the recommended setting...I know this may sounds obvious...but it works...

Do you keep getting something about Glide2.dll or something like that? :?
