Yea, but in the end, the texture makes everything. If you can texture well, you don't have to worry as much about dimensions. In fact, i like designing simpler models than this one. They are easier to skin and you have alot more fun if you're not worried about getting it just perfect. Take my waps for example at mod db. I like them, they aren't perfect, but the texture is good and it has other elements that just make it fun to use such as dual weilding ability. Crappy part about it is, the more complex the weapon, the more bugs that can and will appear.

:shock: Amazing! Soz about the lack of posts, I've had salmanella from chicken that my grandma made :( . It was either that or buttons. I was sick every half hour and slept for 17 hours lol.

Looking good :D All it needs really is a good texture, because the texture makes it, i mean look at alot of the guns and items in dx, there models are crap, but the textre makes em seem better.

Earth mesh is 920 polys, dimwit.

And from the look of it in UnrealEd, it's a (What MS3d calls) Geo-Sphere. With added texture mapping =) Not the hardest things to make.

Nope.

It's a sphere with two hemispheres split up, so lighting could work better. :D
