Favourite Actors/Actresses

Reese Witherspoon and Johhny Depp

Reason: Simply because they make the film worth watching and they are great at acting. They are convincing and in every role they play, they play it to the fullest imo.

Favourite Performances-

Reese Witherspoon: The importance of being Earnest

Johhny Depp: Pirates of the Caribean and Edword Scissorhands

Leonardo DiCaprio - Really underrated. Versatile actor and is worth the millions they throw at him to be in movies imo.

Best performance in either 'Catch me if you can' or 'Gangs of New York'.

Tom Hanks - Absolutely brilliant, possibly my favourite.

Best performance in either 'Castaway' or 'Forrest Gump' or 'Saving Private Ryan'.

Denzel Washington - Brings intensity to all his roles and steals the show in all the films hes in.

Best performance in 'Training Day'.

I have 3 fave actors:

Nicolas Cage: He's just such a great actor, I have never seen a movie that sucked with him in it. He's not the most amazingest top rated actor ever, but hes consistently good.

Best performances: Con Air, The Weather Man..

Tom Hanks: Lazer got it spot on he's a great actor.. and what adds to it is that he's actually a really nice guy in real life as well. Also in castaway, which is him on his own on screen for 2 hours. He managed to stop it being boring and samey...

Best performances: Philidelphia, Forrest Gump, Castaway..

Kiefer Sutherland: He's the highest paid TV star IN THE WORLD, for 24. The fact he's in 24 makes him amazing :]. He plays his roles really well and his voice is cool.

Best performances: All of 24. 'Nuff said. Flatliners and Phone Booth.

(Ill do my actresses later)

Johnny Depp - Simply coz of his pure hotness. No man looks sexier in eyeliner.

Ewan McGregor - Plays an ace role in Big Fish.

Eeeerrmmm...

Michelle Rodruiguez (argh shite sp) - James knows why 8)

Can't really think of any others off the top of my head.

OH! This might not count.. but the guy who does Solid Snake's voice, David Hayton. His voice is LUSH.

Orlando Bloom - He plays a lot of roles in powerful historic flims. He delivers a powerhouse of great acting skills.

Best Movies - Kingdom of Heaven and Troy

Eric Bana - Same as Orlando Bloom, but not as much history.

Best Movies - Tie between Black Hawk Down and Troy

Samuel L. Jackson.... no more needs to be said.

Favorite Movies - Snakes on a Plane and Star Wars Ep III.

True Bob, i'd say Marlon Brando is one fine actor but i have only seen him in one film, The Godfather. He was amazing in that though.

On the Waterfront ;)

I liked Liam Nielson in Schindler's List, he had other good films but that stands out for me.

Best Performance (imo) - especially in movie "Brother" and perhaps "Battle Royale I".

Christopher Walken - second favourite

Best performance - i especially liked his role in "The Prophecy" (with Viggo Mortensen).

Others that come to mind

Tom Hanks - "Green Mile" (i agree with all who say THanks is awesome actor, I enjoyed every second of Green Mile, 5 times."
Billy Drago - nice face :p BP? perhaps "The Untouchables", he was also in one of those stupid delta force movies.

I didn't see Willem Dafoe. Platoon? It won an Academy Award. For Best Movie Ever Made.

Also didn't see Robert Redford. The Sting? You guys don't know your classics.

Orson Welles. He's a decent actor as well as an impeccable director. Citizen Kane has been called the greatest piece of cinematography ever made.

Phone Booth is good too.
