Assassins creed, looks omfg FTW! and the new GTA ect ect ect, i aint got long so making a short quick post about it.

BTW, ill give credit to 360 though because Oblivion ( morrow wind ) fucking owns.

alot of ppl get the ps3 for GTA... its comnig out on 360. Considering you can buy the Wii and 360 for the same price as ps3. I think sony have another thing comin...

Seriously though, a free Blu-ray player, a 60GB HDD, wireless PS2-style controllers, sexy black - not pukish i-pod rip off white, a massive library of playable games even before launch, the most popular RPG titles and great HD graphics.

And as far as the only place X-box zealots can retreat to atm, "ZOMG IT'S $XXX!", that certainly didn't stop the X-box from getting people like your self to fork out the extra money, did it? Mind you, X-box fanboys seem to have a selective memory.

Having seen and played a X-box 360(On a HDTV, I might add), I can honestly say I wasn't impressed, and the controller is still fucking useless. FFS Microsoft, if you must steal things, steal a better bloody controller.

And just out of curiosity, what bit did Sony apparently steal?
(Keeping in mind that the PS2 came with HDD support before the X-box was launched.)

The PS2 could use a HDD before the X-box came out... Only innovation Microsoft did was to write -everything- to it. The PS2 had memory cards, which also offers backward compatibility to the PS1. So make your own mind up there.

So, looking at that, does that mean Nintendo ripped off the PS2? The PS2 has the eye toy and assorted microphones that can be plugged in. One could say Nintendo looked and that and simply combined them.

I personally think the Wii controller is awful, but meh.

I took it off. It made the controller about 3 times the size of a PS2 controller. But the graphics, gotta give some credit. Perfect Dark on N64 owned all.

I only hate the Nintendo consoles for two reasons; lack of games and the awful 'dead joystick' every controller got.

Golden Eye is still the greatest FPS on a console ever, and Perfect Dark was quite good also. :]

Backwards compatability is useless. The ps3 is supposedly a super computer when it was meant to be a game machine. And then again the sony basically "borrowed" Nintendo's gyroscopic control system, as a last ditch effort at being unique, albeit last second. To me personally, getting a next gen system would require me to get an HD tv first, and those are pretty expensive. Unless you are a kid with parents that are willing to cancel their payments on a house, just to get a ps3 or even a 360 with all the little goodies that have to go with it.

On another note, rest in peace, Steve "the crocodile hunter", and I will be forking over no more than $250 for a Wii, come it's release.

I may also get a full system overhaul instead and forget about console gaming altogether. ^^

The 'super computer' bit is a very nice tax trick.

If you import a computer, it costs a lot less then importing a games console. They tried it with the PS2, but it didn't work. This time they have a 'super computer' chip, a HDD, and the new buzz word 'media centre'.
