If the version is GOTY edition, then the cd crack has been fixed, so its a nono

I thought you were supposed to change the CDPath=*whatever* to CDPath=../

That's how i've always done it.

Nope, it doesn't work.

Changing CD Path on SoldOut won't work, the SoldOut Company made sure of it, trust me.

Changing CD Path on SoldOut won't work, the SoldOut Company made sure of it, trust me.

It doesn't work.

Even ask SoldOut themselves.

You might've done major changes to it, ie MTL and all that business, but it won't get cracked, SoldOut made tests to prove it.

And you had PURCHASED a product from SoldOut, a green Deus Ex game disc, installed it, played it, took off the line and could still play it?

Because I doubt that. I've had SoldOut for 2 years and I couldn't get it to run without the CD.

I have sold out disk and it dosn't let me crack.

I've tried CDPath=../ and CDPath= but nothing works...

I don't know what version you had Alex, but I had SoldOut Deus Ex GOTY, the American one, and it won't let you crack it.

No, I didn't.

When I had SoldOut, I had CDPath=. And yet when I booted it up, it said I needed a CD.

Right now I have the downloaded version because the SoldOut CD actually cracked in half.

The crack does work on SoldOut, but throughout 7 replacement SoldOut cd's, only one of them was able to work with the CDPath= change - the others asked for the disc...

...and my discs have all been blue

ok ill settle this once and for all. i have sold out version aswell and i have the website to get the CD-CRACk so if u give me min ill get u it ( lol reset all my thingys to default i.e lost fav's )

I got the soldout version and the disc is green. Crack only worked for me when Nobody sent me this one file :roll:

Same with me Sike. I have the SoldOut version, except mines blue :/

Nobody sent me a DeusEx.exe file to replace the one in the system folder, its like tripple the size of the default one. Then if you Change CdPath: Then it works without it. Without the updated DeusEx.exe it didn't work though.
