Based from what I heard, that version is extremely buggy and tends to crash just booting up. Sorry but it doesn't seem like a mod worth installing - more like watching and masturbating to the noobs, but I doubt its nonlaggy. It probably creates a huge amount of lag due to models.

Not worth it imho.

My mod leader's crashed when he boot it up.

And 1500 poly models, no seriously, it has to lag, no matter what you say. High polys lag the anims.

When you develop a better sense of modelling, you'll know that it's not all the hype it keeps talking about. The models are nice, but there's too much in it for everybody to update their stuff all at once.

The beauty of dx, was that they were able to achieve such realism, with such low-poly models, and an old engine.

I'm gona check this out. I hope it's worth to download :roll:

Edit. The mod really is worth to download. There we're some things I really liked, such ass the crowbar, pinball machine, crates, toilets, chairs etc. Also there we're some things I did not like for example, Gunther Hermann the model was a bit weard and I think it still needs some work, cups etc.

The mod is pretty succesfull I'll give it 8.5/10. Great job there in HDTP :wink:

This was just a release to show the progress they have made on the mod as a whole. but yes the mod rocks.

Nice, I liked everything besides

1. Gunther's model - it's good, but it's not Gunther.
2. Problems with lighting on high-poly models.

But no lag for me.

I played this earlier, and it forces download times to at least quadruple there original limit, it lags like hell, the only good thing about it is gunther...
