I prefer SG but no one seems to want to protect the "27 base" anymore, so it may aswell be Ste's server with 1 aug per kill instead.
AG can get annoying because everyone spams Gas Grenades and Lams, an example for the sort of people that do this are the newbies like PETER. (He must have had caps lock on when he wrote his name)

BS , make it atdm and 2000 skills to begin with an 2000 extra skills after killing someone.This way you help the community by letting the newbs get familiar with augs , although they have to deal with modded circumstances.Will be good if they know a bit about augs when they enter a real atdm augged server

DXAG is a great mod, it focuses on teamwork. DXAG is better than augs by all means of the word, augs is a savage individualistic game played by veterans smothering new people who want to try it. A perversion of what it was originally.

DXSG is a great mod as well, it has a lot of unique ideas about it and it has a lot of really neat stuff to play with.

Both focus on fun - something Augs, I'm afriad, will never, EVER, be, given the conditions it's in.

I prefer DXAG, not only because Ben made it(and I'd totally hit that), but also a lot of thought went into the whole team based effort, along with a lot of coding and shizz by Nobody.

It's got augs in it so I don't really see a problem, sure it attracts "newbs" but that's because it's something different rather than usual game play that DX provides...

I see this mod as something of a stairway to getting newbies more interested in augs, there's the same disadvantages in DXAG as in ATDM(well not exactly, but changing class is like changing augs in a way), so it could prepare them for better things

Also, Shadow, this topic is about which one is better, not why they shouldn't be there. You've voiced your opinion, point taken, don't change this into another "AMAGAD EVERYWUN PLAY AUGS" topic, no one cares if you've joined the sheep wagon of augs proclamation.

I'd DXAG simply because DXSG on its own isn't that fun, due to the slow weapons and such its a bit dull. It's the TACTICAL mod that makes DXSG really fun. Plus DXSG made the most annoying weapon ever devised. EVER. Damn Neutron Bomb :evils:

Well i love playing DXSG, And the Neutron Bomb is one of the best parts of the game. You just Toss it in the ring, then pull out your pre-set TRC and BOOM, Instant Tele Nuke. This works well in CMD, Due to the fact that you can find more then 1 Neutron in the base.

PS 24 is the best place to send it most of the time.

I want to learn augs. But it is fucking annoying if the opposition is only excisting out off die hard auggers who I can't kill.Makes the game as fun for me as it is for total newbs.It can be fun if there a lot of people from all kind of levels.Why you think it was popular back when 0 augs didn't excisted ? I found out a lot of people played it from other forums.They all agreed dx 1 was better than dx 2.But none of them played for over 3 years.
If you want to mod or such , bring back the snipe reload bug or what ever it was.Stop toying around with weapons and make them look " cooler" than the excisting weapons.For " cool""weapons people will go to different games any such as unreal tournament or quak or what ever , not to dx. CSS or DX 0 augs, I'd say most would choose CSS.

To call my modding "toying around" is an insult by itself, but when you say it's not needed, that's when you truly become a total idiot.

Cool weapons? No. They don't have to be cool. Some people just prefer a change from the old, boring, repetitive weapons they use every day. And some people really like new weapons, as it gives them a chance to experiment with them.

This is why I prefer DXSP. DXSP is Single player; this means that nobody argues about it. People can modify it to the greatest extent, and because they can modify it, no, because they have the SHEER FREEDOM to modify it, that makes DX a truly great game.

When you mix in MP, things get complicated. Because it is more than one person playing, not everyone will agree with modifying it. Some idiots might even think it's considered bad if you modify MP. How is this the case? The editing community works day and night without any pay to make your gay multiplayer seem that much better, more exciting and not boring and repetitive with the old maps and weapons.

And what do you "players" give us in return? Nothing. You should be grateful you're even playing DX, you stupid little brat. Remember that DX started out as a sort of "large mod" based off the Unreal Tournament game; but with a much different storyline, plot, weapons, characters etc. So if you think mods are useless, you're basically calling DX, the entire game, useless. DX itself is a mod; and modifiers MADE THE GAME FROM UNREAL TOURNAMENT.
