New Masterserver

Well, i was thinking about createing a new master server, one which will be highley protected against bots like Dejavu's.... Just one prob, i don't know how to code a masterserver, any 1337 Coding person want to help me?

We already have FGS, which is hosted on a good connection. We don't need a new masterserver that is hosted on a home connection, by someone without any knowledge.

How would i be hosting it on a "Home" connection? I know php, some mysql, etc, but i don't know how the hell to code a master server.

I'm going to host it on a webhost, and my webhost will allow it, they just don't allow it to be used as a game server, if you get my meaning, a permemnant games server like Games Major provides, or a remote file host for game server file hosts.



They allow things like masterservers, or server listing scripts.

You have no knowledge of setting up a MasterServer, no good host, and setting it up through FTP is impossible, and probably, noone is going to help you. Thus, it's impossible.

I never mentioned FTP:roll:. Plus my hoster doesn't suck, it gives alot more than quite alot of paid hosts. Plus someone might help me, because not everyone is as negative as you.

I doubt that you have root acces Because you are saying that right now, since cPanel/Plesk etcetera, doesn't count and does not enable you to run processes.

They will host a masterserver......but not a game server. That makes no sense and I will put that in my sig.
