Some things in Futureworld parallel the DX world.

So I made a map for DXMS based on the Amtrak Saga...

dont expect dxmp community to have discussions on such topics, try PDX =)
Much more intelligent and deeper conversations on such plans take place there, i personally like the effort and idea. I think its a bit off the cyberpunk approach DX is about but it dares to go even further into the "post-apocalyptic" environment as you said, which undoubtedly has its own strong effect. It definitely shows from the lightning from the screenshot.
