Ever since today around midday 12:00 i had my server up to test a player LastChance..i decided to keep my server up and after about an hour it was attacked ( as it does nowadays :( ) and since then whenever i have my internet cable pluged in my "Computer" laggs terribly..as if when in remote assistance and somebody is looking at your computer ..it laggs that bad :( i have a feeling i have something really wrong ! the lagg corrects its self when logged onto to dxalpha.com for some reason ?? strange but when i go to a different tab it laggs again! it's like having a 9999999999999 ping on a shitty ass server is you will excuse my french. can you please help..i know i've been very troublesome today with problems but this time it real bad ! thanks

I had a similer problem just half an hour ago. But after i unpugged my PC for a few minutes it seemed to sort itself out.

My server is rarely attacked now.. But when it was, and like 100 players joined, my whole computer would lag (30 seconds to open paint etc) even when the server was closed. Do you have a router? If so, turn it off and back on again. This seems to fix it, as I suppose it dumps all the useless connections that were made to the server.. Try that.

Install a decent firewall like Agnitum Outpost or Kaspersky.

hmm.. still seems to lag..i have now taken a demorec..how can i post it ? and where can i find it in my dx system ?
