Meh im happy with my PS3, most people may not fancy them but I find it fun, cause unlike the Wii the PS3 doesen't star with a whole collection of stupid ass games for children such as Wario-Ware,Zelda,Wii Sports,crap.

The PS3 launched with decent titles like Resistance:Fall Of Man,Mobile Suit Gundam:Crossfire,Call of Duty 3,F.E.A.R.,Full Auto 2:Battlelines,not crappy little kiddy games like ninteno had,its the same as for the DS and the Gamecube. Nintendo is for children all of theyre systems output little kids games,Mario Party,Kirby,Animal Crossing,Harvest Moon they all suck sonys for us big boys so enjoy your kiddy Wii's and support the PS3 if your balls have dropped

I reccomend you get it for X-mass,it is backwards compatible with every single console game by Nintendo except the hand-held ones of course,so yes you can play gamecube games on it,if you pop the top of the wii's case open,there's a little flap/hatch with 4 gamecube controller ports,and 2 memory card inport slots.

It's truely a great system,i really hope you get one,although you probly will,considering Nintendo said they plan on shipping 10 million Wii's by the end of the year,high chance you'l get one.

Well Nintendo has been acused of stealing from sony before,like supposofly the PSP was gonna have 2 screens and a touch screen,and supposofly they PS3 has the idea so sencors in the controller first,either

A.Sony is just a bunch of jeolous bitches
or
B.Nintendo really does steal idea's

Either way,if nintendo does steal idea's at least they do a great job of presenting them unlike sony's,and if its true nintendo stole,im glad they did,cause sony would make their own idea's look like shit...although Sony did steal the sencor's idea because when the Ps3 was shown at E3 the controller was fake,then they added the sencors,NOR do i really care about all that,cause i own both PS3 and Wii and they both rock,just wii rocks harder.

1) The PS2 hardware is being removed. This means games will not work on the PAL versions for the moment. The PS3 is very capable of running any PS2 title with emulation. Sadly, not all PS2 games follow specs that Sony laid down for compatibility.
