After leaving the company to bring his RPG duo Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to Xbox 360, Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi says that Square Enix should bring Final Fantasy to Microsoft's console.
The Mistwalker boss told Gamespot: "I feel that the Final Fantasy series should come to Xbox 360 as well. This is wise. It makes so much sense to me...it has so much potential in North America and in Europe. So there's a great chance for the series to succeed on 360 as well."
Continuing the chat Sakaguchi-san suggested that Square Enix could port its upcoming PS3 instalment Final Fantasy XIII to 360 fairly simply, because "they made the White Engine open platform".
To date Square Enix's support for the Xbox 360 has been fairly week. A port of the 11th Final Fantasy has so far been the only one of the company's titles to make it over, but with the current trend of cross-platform development we wouldn't rule out the idea of Final Fantasy XII on 360.

007, when you choose a console because of the company tag, I stop listening.
I have never bought a console just because of the "company". All i'm saying is i had an Xbox for a short time and it was as shit as the computers the company also makes. Nintendo have made some good handhelds but the majority of "big" consoles were shit. I always bought Sony consoles cos they are actually good and fun to play.

Unfortunately MGS 4 WAS going to be bought by Microsoft but they changed their mind at the last minute to leave the PS3 with some half decent cards to play with.

We've had 3 faulties already in one day. And people are already trading the games in less than 24 hours after getting them, saying they're shit. My workmate bought a PS3 (I don't know why), and has brought stuff back because its being faulty and discs aren't reading. Blu-ray keeps fucking up apparently.
Loadsa people are cancelling their deposits simply because the PS2 backwards compatability is next to nothing, and you can't even save PS2 games on it yet without the adaptor which hasn't even been released. Oh, and with the 360, the demand was higher than what we had. With the Wii, we still get around 50 calls a day asking to reserve one, and when we do get them in they sell within the hour. With the PS3, we have like 175 in stock and can't sell them whatsoever. They're taking up my staff room
So far, the PS3 sucks hairy sweaty balls.
