I'm not scared of monsters or anything supernatural to be honest, cause at the end of the day there is a solid basis of reason, and therefore I find it difficult to fear something that doesn't exist.

I guess that's probably why I'm not really scared of any video games with monsters or such things (I have played a few of the RE series at friends' houses, I don't have a console of my own).

I have however, broken a glass when a guard came round a corner in DX .

Imagine if they made Scream or White Noise into a game *shivers*.
A CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine Sniper, asked. "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

Well I get spooked by psychotic stuff, such as White Noise, and I have to admit Scream wasn't scary but it was a spare of the moment factor, especially if you were 6 when you first saw it!

Name one movie which is scary then.

Ummm, I've no idea actually, nothing comes to mind and horror movies now are tame.

The scariest bits in Resident Evil games are when monsters invade save or "safe" rooms.

Lisa on RE1 Remake as an example

True. Very true.

I think there was one room where if you were any good at fighting off the zombies in the area with your guns, you get into this cramped room up a starway, then to the left. It's about 8x the size of the player (Width and length-wise), and it's always dead quiet, apart from the first time you go in there. All of a sudden, 2 zombies/hunters ( can't remember :( ) are in the room, trying to kill you. Confined space + monsters + door lock + low ammo = scary... right?

Also, the falling ceiling thing is pretty scary... "It's locked..." "It's locked..." "It's locked..." "It's locked..." *ceiling gets painfully close* SHIT!!! *Barry saves Jill at random* OR "It's locked..." "It's locked..." SHIIIIIITTTTT!!!!!! *splat*

"YOU DIED."

*Throw controller at console, screaming (insert your age when first playing RE)-year old profanities*

I think he only saves your arse in an optional part of the story once. Either getting the Bazooka (Saved from crows?), or the Shotgun (Saved from becoming a Jill-Sandwich (Being squished)).

As I remember, he also saves you if you don't use the V-Jolt on that evil plant in the gatehouse, with a flamethrower.

Does the picture of Barry's family actually do -anything-?!?
