Why are people bitching about the price of a PS3? $600 roughly seems a pretty sound price for it.

Count your blessings you're not in the EU, 599 USD converted to GBP is currently £300 (thank you Vista). So why are good Britons paying more? I thought we were pretty high up in the hierarchy. Import purposes? Electrical issues? Or do they just hate us?

If you come from, say the Netherlands tell us the price in your local currency.

Europe gets the shaft on everything. But you should see Japan prices, it's around £13 for a brand new 360 game (they region lock them to be utter fuckwads) and around £120 for a premium 360.

In all fairness it's not a shit system for single player titles and online SERVICES, just so long you stay away from multi-format titles.

I suppose.. A friend of mine owns all 3 systems and I've played a few games on it. I don't really like it much, not worth 600 in my opinion.

In the rate their going thats going to be a while. In the next couple of months there will be like 2 or 3 games coming exclusively for the ps3. I still find it funny that those damn ps3 fanboys keep babbling on about mgs being a one hitter killer. PS3 seems to consist of Racing and Sport games, which arn't my faviorates to be honest..
