So, I was watching Fox News the other day, and it was some guy arguing about how pedophiles should never get out of jail. He says he wants NYC to make a law that removes the old 25-year sentence and replaces it with a life sentence. This guy was obviously worried that once pedophiles get loose, they molest the kids again.

He was also against rehabilitation for pedophiles cus he thinks pedophiles will always be the same sex-crazy monkeys.

So yeh, they are even suggesting the death penalty for pedophilism in states like Kansas. My question to you is this: should pedophiles stick to the mandatory 25-year state, or is it safer to lock them up forever?

I saw both sides of the argument, dunno which one to pick tbh.

No , they shouldn't be locked up forever.If a murderer and a raper can get free than so should a pedophile.But this point of view is based on the laws in Europe since you don't have the death penalty here.But if in the USA you can be sentenced to death for raping than pedophiles should get the death penalty aswell.If rapers get locked up forever than so should pedophiles be locked up forever.

I would vote both yes and no, id rather see them behind bars for 50 or so years. When they get out and try to molest a kid they might get their asses kicked by the kid, besides, 50 years in jail might shift their interest from kids to big spoons and jail-hunks. Naturally no pedophile should be in solitary, that adds all the more fun.

Also I agree with shadow, rapers and murderers (depending on degree, i guess) should get the same sentence.

You Americans have way better system than we here anyway, id be happy to see 'em get 25 here.

Death Penalty is bullshit. Especially when malicious children have no idea what they are talking about, and innocent parents get fucked because of it. It happens.

I would alos vote yes, as a life senetence probably, I dunno, although the reasons why they did such a sick act should always be investigated to prevent as much as possible ( e.g, if they aren't right in the head, which I don't see anyone who does that as, then refer for severe medical treatment)

Well, I think they should only use it if there's solid proof. Maybe give them some psychiatric help as a chance.

I think 25 years is enough. Think about it seriously, 25 YEARS. 25 years of the same scenery, the same 4 walls, etc. Thats longer than most of us on here have even been alive.
I think they should get therapy to find out what makes them wanna molest children, and then have them carefully and effectively monitored after they get out. House arrest and no internet to access child porn would be suitable. No?

Yes, it's a great comfort to know that people who blow some guys head off, only goes to prison for 36 years. :roll:

If i'm not mistaken A life sentence is something around 90 years. I'll have to check up on that though.

There are 2 types of life sentence, 25 years (out well before 25 years though) and then there's the actual rest of your life (the death penalty would work here, as it's one less scumfuck taking up space and tax).

Here, people are usually out after doing less than half of their original sentence, due to "good behaviour", yet almost all of them reoffend.
