Holy fucking shit, just played the demo. It has the best atmosphere and look I have EVER seen, it completely wipes the floor with DX and the other System Shock games with even this 20 mins of gameplay. I litterally feel like I've been unwillingly forced and suffered years of depression from how the city how decayed even though I just happened to arrive in a unfortunate plane crash.

Nothing will ever compare to Deus Ex's plot, not even fancy next-gen games.

Other than that, judging by the screenshots, the lighting is advanced and amazing, the general environment is done very well, however me being a weapons modeler, I don't like the revolver and how it looks tbh.

Yes, yes it has. Interactive cinematics in the first 20 mins were enough. The acting and the geniune multiple world accents with their general paranoia make Rapture a very alive place, American accents, Irish accents, Russian accents, English accents, Scottish accents so far.

We'll wait as see, BioShock is a amazing game so far. I am really excited.

This game is made by the people salvaged from Looking Glass Studios, one of the most important game developers ever.

These are possibly the most important developers of all time, they went on to create new branchs, one of them called Ion Storm.

People who were in LGS have created DX, Oblivion, Freedom Fighters, SWAT 4 and the soon coming BioShock and Fallout 3 (also a more important game thant Deus Ex, although I hope it doesn't play like Oblivion despite being on the same engine)

This is a big daddy's return (no pun), this is indeed fancy but it is more than just a ordinary game, the predcessor was what DX kinda ripped off. You cannot ignore how important this game is.

Also the models are great, 1960s ftw.

I second that! How can one who has 1,000+ posts and who's on a DX Forum in the first place come here and say DX is crap?

Deus Ex may not own in graphics anymore, but like Cataclyzm said, it's the best their ever was. I would much rather play DX 20 times over than some shitty next-gen game (not all next-gen games are crap, just most).

Bad enough when I tried playing Condemned in the dark, and on Gears of War when the second beserker appears it made me jump so badly I burst into tears

LOL Gears of War and Condemned are not scary. Scariest game i ever played was Resi 3, Nemesis still scares me
