Indeed but superior graphics equals superior hype for release.

Take Killzone 2 for example. PS3 fanboys are excited about its release, the single level showed in E3 had a size of 2.05 GB. Fanboys claim it's better than Halo 3. It is debatable but we already know what Halo 3 plays like and is about because we have played the other two games. Unlike Killzone 2 which we didn't really want because of its crappy prequel and it could control like shit and have a two dimensional world but how would they know? Example? Or actual testing?

Yes but superior Ai and a 'Completely free game world' in which there are only 2 scripted sequences usually makes a superior game.

Honestly though, even if Sony filled Blu Ray to capacity, will that equal a better gaming experience?

Or will it be full of cinematics and even more hi res textures? Aids is probably the biggest biased person towards sony. I doubt you've even played a 360 or Wii, let alone own one of them.

Right so they're going to put the game, a pc exclusive game nonetheless, onto a blu-ray disc? Yes I'm sure Crytek know that although they will be diminishing their market, therefore lowering or more likely negating profit margins, it will be worth it in the long run as they were the the first company ever to utilise the new blu-ray system in the pc. That's what its all about isn't it? Evolution! Profit? No, never. What a silly thought.

Producing Blu-Ray disks costs much more than normal game disks. Plus, BluRay won't work on a standard PC, making people who still have any hope for it buy BluRay players.

Ordering a shitload of Bluray disks but not getting even a fifth of the money spent on producing them back, in profits? Crytek would go bankrupt.

And Yes. It does suck. One of my friends just got it and he had to smash his X-box with his fist to make the disk tray close because the "close Disktray" option didn't work, the disk tray just wiggled a little bit. :roll:
