The best player to me was HiToKurI of [I]mmortial but that clan is long disbanded.. Merl[I]n was a damn good player too, minus their attitudes.. Nobody knows about these guys anymore as it seems.

Yeah, gaz is corret about ricci. Dom aka vio is good, very good. Maybe not the best but thats imo.

Merlin also was very good in his prime. I haven't forgetten them. But most of the 0 aug community and new players don't know of them. Beast is way to early for 99% of this community.

Even though Psycho did not specify what he meant, it is rather obvious that the present is what interests him and what is on the topic. This leaves the mythical Beast out, along with every single player that does not really play the game today. It is also good that the question is formed as who "is", not "was", as the members of the community just love to get carried away.

I am just going to say that currently best augers imo are Messiah for europe, and flaw or ricci for the other continent. Having said that, Im not too sure that flaw is even playing much at all these days.

Due to my current perspective, it is 0auged top that interests me considerably more. It is somewhat difficult to say who is in fact the current best, obviously, but it is probably either chaos, clixor, cyrus, or myself. An interesting thing to note is that none of the players mentioned are anywhere near top form due to very different reasons. I can foresee, however, that Cyrus completely moves to css, again, clixor gets new computer, and me and chaos get our shit sorted. Then it should be interesting.
I dont feel that this top 4 i listed is somehow threatened by some other players that play 0augs right now.

I haven't played zero augs in a while, and if I ever play that game type, it's just to poison people.

I haven't seen anyone skilled, play zero aug game type, since Creamy. (AR, pistol, sniper.)

Right now though, no one actually stands out in augged play.

Question now is, who you are? What year is it? You administrate DXAlpha page, live on the forums, apparently acquired a server for dxmp with another administrator of these forums. Yet last time I saw you do anything remotely similar to playing dxmp was in 2004, and even that reminded more of fooling around. And you dare to ask who I am.
You do not need to know who I am because that information tells you nothing. For you I am nobody, I do not laugh at your jokes, or post in another misplaced sticky spam thread that you make now and then. Because, I visit these forums to check up on dxmp events and hysteria.
Such topics are as much "full of shit" as the posters who post the posts are. Rather naive question new players often ask, the answer is however only interesting to those who in fact play, and really play the shooter online. By condemning such thread and in fact going the length of justifying empty and meaningless replies by administrators, who believe they are making a point, does get a message across: these forums must be the wrong place to create threads that include actually playing and playing competitively the game I play, the dxmp.
As a now solely modding clan it is however quite understandable, and perhaps touchy subject for some. So in all fairness, who some dxmp player is.. is really not that important.

Fukhead was nominated. I read that, and had a good laugh. Fukhead is always nominated, and he should be. If [V]MrBlack was nominated, it too would have the effect it tries to achieve. I would smile and think of how he ran around with minicrossbow and how he could camp gas nades for half an hour.
You were "nominated" by another member who in spite of the phase of activity and some "skill" is distancing himself from the dxmp, the game. Realize that I understand that you may the center of these forums. Realize that nothing that I said was aimed at making you feel inferior, or "poor unskilled", but that joke would hardly say anything to anyone actually playing the game, and not playing the phpbb version of the game. Furthermore, even daedalus brought out from his perspective what seemed to be the goal of you two, that I too saw. And that was not a joke, but an apparent attempt to ridicule the dxmp.
