Howdy folks, this is a quick lesson to explain to you that the entire gaming community has matured over the last year, because it has learnt not to spout out any stupid words we created 6+ years ago for shits and giggles. Words like "owned/pwned" and "noob". They're not even funny anymore, not even to annoy someone, no one uses them anymore, seriously. I am not dictating this but I play lately and I see all the big shot clan arses embarrassing themselves in a game that is of third world quality right now anyway like these words.

Abbreviations such as GG and GF are widely accepted of course, just stupid words are looked down upon because well (not stopping you from saying newb or newbie though)... the majority of users these days say this shit IRL and its kind of depressing to hear it over XBL from a player I played with recently from this community... and to see leet speak graffiti in CLUB toilets?

Heh - Good point, mate.

No mentioning of names but ya get the "big shot clan arses" as you say... they join, geyt massive killcount, then a death.... all of a sudden it's "omfg lag kill u cheap n00b".

I've seen some fantastic "big shot" excuses over my 6 months of playing DXMP!

Anonymous [RTK] member (playing on JTB/DXS, which is by anyone's standards a fast server)... gets killed with a crossbow... "omg cheap i had no med, fkn n00b."

After bout 40 kills and 3 deaths, he's like "i've pwned u nubs enough now, i'm out".

I know this was a clumsily written post, but hopefully ya get the idea. English, anyone??

2 things I need help with (I'm not au fait with abbreviations acronyms and geek speak in general, I much prefer to take the time and effort to type in full english or near enough full english!):

1. Wtf iz IRL liek? I fink it like mite b "In Real Life", but not sure.
2. Wtf iz XBL liek?

I like hearing it over XBL. Yesterday we played against a clan without you James. Me, Dave, Eric and Brendan. They said we'd get "owned" and slaughtered. They were all Majors and Commanders.

We won. Convincingly.

Afterwards Eric put them in their place. Saying shit like that, to me, is a "play" on the whole internet community, "owned", "pwned", "noob" etc. are quite hilarious when you hear a person say it seriously.
