On my server some one started constantlly spamming so i tried to kickban him. i was logged in as admin- but it had no effect. it didnt even kick him! any suggestions?

Do you have mtl? If not you have to type admin set human bcheatsenabled true. After that then the kickban thingy.

If you have MTL, use

Code: Select all: admin kickban player's id

e.g admin kickban 4
you can get player's id from by using

Code: Select all: playerlist

command.

If you don't have MTL, you don't need admin before the command.

Ok, try this:

Code: Select all: adminlogin [yourpassword] admin set human bcheatsenabled true

Then to ban:

Code: Select all: kickban [playerid]

Can be obtained by typing:

Code: Select all: playerlist

As for Dae:
You don't have to use

Code: Select all: admin kickban [playerid]

In MTL simply

Code: Select all: kickban [playerid]

works as well.

Ive managed to get the ips shown in the logs. so i can add them to banned list when there not in the server.Thanks for all the help maxtor

Do you have advanced ban. If not they can evade it cause of dynamic ip. :oops:

Why do people see dynamic ips so rare all their doing is re-logging in on their ISP(ya know restarting the router/modem ect..)!

sey advban ether dont work or bans myself. ive disabled my router fwl and pc fwl to try it do i need to open anymore ports to ban?

Im still unable to ban do i need to open anymore ports? im sick of ppl spamming and i cnt ban do u lot have any suggestions? most have dynamic ips and advban bans me but no 1 else i.e mutate advban playerid

and it bans me. any suggestions?

How do you try to ban someone using AdvBan?
Type out all commands.

Bans yourself = You're ID 0. The numeric value of a string with no numbers is 0. You banned yourself.

Don't work = No-one is ID 0.
