I loved the freeplay. I think that's what most people play it for.

I'm not a specific "class" but you could say I'm kind of a forester or mountain man of sorts. Exploring and living off the land and what not. But I'm seriously looking for to an expansion that opens a country, like Valenwood or Skyrim or something like that.

Maybe open up Morrowind again :D

it seems like it came out yesterday but with "new" puter itll still only run the start up dungeon.

watch out with the mods though. it _will_ drive you crazy.

i tried (and havent given up) running morrowind with like 200 mods. im still working on it.

overall oblivion is said to be short and rather bland game compared to morrowind. id say certain mods are necessary to enjoy it properly.

Morrowind confused me, cause there was seriously no limits to what you could do. I entered the first town and teleported half way across the world, then couldn't afford to get back lol <_<.

Morrowind is hard as fuck your first 1-3 levels, original unmodded MW gets easier fast with your cash farming options and the chameleon ammy, but modding community has found 101 ways to make MW harder :)

MW literally has thousands of mods and something being released every day, so you can really change the feel of it. First things Id suggest are just the Better Bodies mod and some kind of Texture Replacer (there is website where you can pick which textures you like).

Oblivion has lot of mods that are supposed to make it more interesting and morrowind-like/lore friendly, and generally less generic, but I dont really know too much about them. There are some massive mods like "OOO" though. I am talking about PC here though. I dont know about mods for console Oblivion. Some can be used with console Morrowind, after some illegal (depends) modifications to console or game.

All in all Oblivion should be rather short and unanticipatedly linear game when it comes to main quest, but there is still lot to do.
