have you ever felt not very well (like, giddy) after playing a game? I noticed that it happens to me when there is a lot of movement. Earlier I though that its somehow related to fps, but now I doubt that fps is the only factor.

If you mean giddy as in tired, yeh I feel that way after about 4 hours of playing COD4. Intense stuff. I usually take a break to check forums, do some work, then afterwards I go on again.

Only side effect from games is when I've been playing for a few hours and I go into what my mates now call "The State".

I stop talking altogether, I can't hear anything but what I'm playing, and I tend to get somewhat better at it.

Seemed to pop up about the same time I began playing Burnout 3.

My type of "The State" is where my conscience is blinded by some sort of boredom after playing what felt like an uninspired game and I just don't feel like doing anything. This can last for 30 mins or a week, so I end up not doing coursework and start force feeding myself to play games.

I stay away from this by not doing anything unnecessary on the pc (aka. blindly surfing the web with no apparent target...like now?).
My msn is now updated add me xD.

'The state' is just over concentration, I have too much concentration already so I got in maniacal fits of gibberish and laughing.
