I'm glad to announce that by decision of the Jury and a few (unfortunately few) commenters, the winner of the Alpha's Mapping Contest is... LastEr with his map DXMP_Ratesc!

(Download the map).
From behalf of the Jury, I'd like to congratulate LastEr!
First of, good things. LastEr's map is really a push for mapping standards not only in the Deus Ex multiplayer, but in the whole modding community of Deus Ex. It offers exceptional quality of mapping, combined with unique style, striking customization and new techniques. While running the map you don't believe it's a 8 year old game based on a 10 year old engine, but does the age really matter..? And this clearly indicates the fact, that the Contest did what it was supposed to do.
As we promised, the winner gets a nominal prize of 50€ and additionally, a couple of other bonuses.
Unfortunately, (and as you can guess) seeing Alpha is no longer a part of the Deus Ex multiplayer community, we have to renounce any further plans for Mapping and Modding Contests. This section of the forum will be closed, and the information regarding the contest, contenders and the winner will be stored on the static pages of the new upcoming dxalpha.com website.
Again, congratulations to LastEr!
